"The joy is in the travelling and not in the arriving"

Introduction  

James and I set off on an 11 week journey to Western Australia. This was a research trip for my tag along tour business, 4wdAdventureOz.com and I was hoping to gather information, experience many wonders and make some great contacts along the way. Travelling on roads such as the Tanami, Gibb River Road and the Anne Beadell Highway, and visiting such places as the Bungle Bungles, Mitchell Falls, Horizontal Falls, Cape Leveque and Steep Point. We fished, snorkelled, flew in helicopters and planes, and rode camels on Cable Beach at sun set. I even arranged for a birthday cake to be made for James' 9th Birthday at Drysdale River Homestead in the Kimberley. The itinerary was just a guide as I had made bookings at some places, but not others with the thought that if we didn't reach an intended destination one day, there is always time to make it the next day. One day I will find the time to expand on this life changing journey that James and I enjoyed so much.
